Boosting youth employment in Africa

One of our favourite projects is taking shape: The Business Academy for Sustainable Impact (BA), an initiative by EdukansFoundation Boost a School and SkillEd, was launched during the ConnectionWorks! conference on Tuesday.

A practical blended training program will help young people in Africa to develop their business, work and life skills, and with other partners provide a favorable eco-system for business development.

The BA will enable start-up initiatives and establish partnerships with local and international businesses.

As climate change and pollution are among the biggest challenges in many African countries, we aim to enhance sustainability in the agriculture/food, energy and waste sectors. Initially the trainings, and guidance will take place in Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda and Malawi, adapted to local needs and practices.
