Mekong Salt Lab – Phase 2
We are in Vietnam to join the “Mekong Salt Lab – phase 2” opening ceremony, meet farmers and other stakeholders, and prepare new training modules on saline agriculture.
The Salt Lab project responds to the threat of salinity in the Mekong Delta while contributing to the development of more resilient and sustainable agriculture in the region.
It is funded by the Dutch government, through Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) | Partner in Sustainable Development and Partners voor Water. The Water Agency, The Salt Doctors, Hogeschool Saxion, De Hogeschool Zeeland, Kim Delta Vietnam, Acacia Water, and SkillEd are closely collaborating with Tra Vinh University and a selected group of local farmers who implement and test innovative sustainable saline agriculture solutions.
