Shaping a sustainable cocoa future
At Amsterdam Cocoa Week / Chocoa 2026, we joined the Chocolonely Foundation’s workshop. The event brought together organisations across the cocoa sector to exchange insights on community development, long term partnerships, and systemic change.
SkillEd contributed to the discussion by exploring how blended learning and training can support cocoa farmers and other value chain actors in strengthening sustainable social, economic, and environmental practices – building on what we already implement in other agri value chains.
The session also highlighted how the Chocolonely Foundation’s work connects to long standing relationships between Tony’s Open Chain, Tony’s Chocolonely, and cocoa growing communities, and how funding approaches can shape more equitable, community informed partnerships.
