Mekong Salt Lab hits national TV

We’re thrilled to see the Mekong Salt Lab project spotlighted on THVL, one of Vietnam’s largest television networks.

The video highlights the growing water challenges in the Mekong Delta, where local communities face increasing saltwater intrusion and dwindling access to fresh water. From minute 07:00 onward, viewers meet Ms. Van, a farmer pioneering water-resilient solutions—capturing rainwater, filtering surface water, and storing it smartly to meet year-round needs for drinking, household use, and farming.

At SkillEd, as part of a Vietnamese – Dutch consortium funded by Partners for Water, we’re proud to contribute to this impactful initiative by designing tailor-made (on and offline) blended training programs for farmers like Ms. Van. We focus on practical, sustainable techniques that help boost yields, improve resilience, and ensure food security in the face of climate and environmental shifts.
