Biomass Research, based in the Netherlands, is an international consultancy and research organization dedicated to sustainable biomass and bioenergy solutions. Founded by Hans Langeveld in 2008, the company combines decades of expertise in crop production, residue valorization, and biobased alternatives with practical applications in policy and commercial projects.

Its team brings diverse expertise in soil fertility, nutrient management, hydrology, plant breeding, and climate risk analysis, enabling Biomass Research to design innovative approaches at the food‑water‑energy nexus. The organization has coordinated projects across Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

Together with SkillEd, Biomass Research is engaged in a new collaborative program in the Netherlands.
