Inspiring farm visit
Yesterday we visited a Mekong Salt Lab champion farm and got a glimpse of Vietnam’s agriculture future: circular, farmer-driven and ready to scale.
Some of the innovative ways how farmers are tacklling salinity:
- Open‑field hydroponics with a fully closed water loop
- Wetlands that clean and recycle water naturally
- Integrated fishponds feeding back into the system
And the part we might remember the most? A warm welcome from the local community with music, decorations and very delicious food.
