Mekong Salt Lab Forum

The Mekong Salt Lab Forum in Tra Vinh province is one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. Here we discuss challenges and previous results, salt (living) lab models and solutions for water management. We also network and explore opportunities for future cooperation and expansion of activities of the Mekong Salt Lab (MSL).

The MSL is a collaboration of various experts from Vietnam and the Netherlands, including Tra Vinh University, The Water Agency, The Salt Doctors, Kim Delta Vietnam, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Stichting Hogeschool Zeeland, Acacia Water and SkillEd.

We aim to develop international and local expertise and support (farmer) communities in adapting to increasing salinity.

The MSL project is supported by Partners for Water, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) | Partner in Sustainable Development in collaboration with the The Kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam.
