Asia NL Water Food Learning Week

SkillEd had a productive first day at the Asia NL Water Food Learning Week, where we took on the role of coaches for the national teams of the Philippines and Indonesia.

Today we presented our blended learning and training approach that combines online and offline methods to support (female) farmers, extension workers and value chain partners in remote areas. This method was developed in collaboration with our partners in several Asian countries, including the Philippines, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Through two projects focused on saline agriculture in Vietnam — one funded by the ADB and the other by Partners for Water/RVO, the Mekong Salt Lab — we have demonstrated how innovative technologies can improve agricultural practices and farmers’ lives.

The Asia NL Water Food Learning Week (ANWFLW) is an intensive week-long programme that brings together project teams from ADB member countries with water experts from the Netherlands. The focus is on promoting collective action, reliable data and a clear understanding of the value of water.
