Saline Agriculture in the Mekong Delta
The Mekong Delta is one of the most productive agricultural regions in the world, but it is severely threatened by salinization.
To address the pressing challenges, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has initiated a pioneering training program through the Dutch Trust Fund under the Water Financing Partnership Facility (WFPF) and in collaboration with several local and international partners.
We at SkillEd are proud to play an important role in this project by providing tailor-made training programs that give local farmers the knowledge and skills they need to adapt their practices to saline conditions. Our approach focuses on sustainable agricultural techniques that improve crop yields and ensure food security for communities vulnerable to environmental change.
If you would like to learn more about the initiative, we recommend reading the recently published paper “Capacity Building for Saline Agriculture in the Mekong Delta” by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
